Zhang Jianping, pen name: Daxi, is currently a member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, the artist with the most collectible value in 2023, a member of the Chinese Youth Strength Calligraphy and Painting Association, a member of the Inner Mongolia Calligraphy Association, a member of the China Bangshu Association, a member of the China Couplets Association, a member of the China Huaxia Celebrity Calligraphy and Painting Academy, and a member of the Ulanqab Calligraphy and Painting Association.
Since childhood, I have been diligent, eager to learn, and have read extensively, with a great passion for calligraphy art. He has devoted himself to studying the famous calligraphy works of Wang Xizhi, Zhang Xu, Huai Su, Mi Yan, Ou Liu, and Zhao. After studying the works of masters such as Lin Sanzhi, Qi Gong, and Mao Ti, and under the guidance of Master Liu Bingsen, his calligraphy skills greatly improved. Adhering to tradition, committed to innovation, skilled in cursive and regular script, with a bold and varied brushwork that exudes a majestic aura, rounded and vigorous lines, forming a distinct personal style.
In 2013, the work "Long March" in Mao style won the first prize in the national competition and was published. In the same year, it entered the treasure trove of Chinese calligraphy and painting.
The 2016 Lanting Preface won the first prize of the National Lanting Cup and was collected by Rongbaozhai.
In 2017, the 20th anniversary works of Hong Kong's return, "Spring in the Garden: Snow" and "Watching the Sea", both won awards.
Won the second prize in the 2019 Moyun Cup National Calligraphy and Painting Competition.
I am currently a contracted calligrapher at Beijing Rongbaozhai, and my works have won numerous awards and have high aesthetic value. They are highly appreciated and collected by calligraphy enthusiasts both domestically and internationally.
